Property Item(Index As Long, [Count As Long = 1]) As TextRange

The Item property returns a reference to the specified word.

The Item property returns a read-only value.


Parameters	Description
Index	Specifies the word by its index number, in base 1
Count	Specifies the number of words This parameter is optional, and its default value is 1.

The following code example creates paragraph text and applies bold formatting to the first word, underlines the fourth word, and fills the seventh and eighth words with red:
